St. Johns — Portland police are investigating the shooting death of a woman near the intersection of North Buchanan Avenue and North Fessenden Street.
No details about the woman’s age or identity have been released at this time. And no suspect information is being provided.
According to a Portland Police Bureau news release, officers were called at 4:38 a.m. Thursday to a report of shots fired in the 9500 block of North Buchanan Avenue. When officers arrived, they found the woman with a possible gunshot wound. Paramedics confirmed the woman was deceased.
